Z工厂是一个合作工作室，以跨学科的工作方式，生产与建筑、都市、艺术和社会工作相关的综合 性的概念。作为设计师、规划师和研究者的共同平台，这个以北京为基地的智库机构，试图通过汇聚集体智慧和进行实质性沟通，寻找有创意的观点和解决方案。通 过向多样化的现实学习，Z工厂的目标是在批判性的研究和社会实践之间建立通道，作为获取新知识的途径。
 
Z FACTORY is a collaborative studio, mainly produces ideas in cross-disciplinary projects and researches that incorporate architecture, urbanism, arts and social work. Based in Beijing, China, this think-tank organization is functioning as a framework of creative designers, urban planners and researchers, searching for viewpoints and solutions through leading collective intelligence and energy to practical dialogue and communication. By learning from various contemporary reality, ZFACTORY is aiming at setting up a channel between critical research and social practice, as an alternative way of obtaining information and making new knowledge.

出租车停在国贸桥下等红灯的时候，我看见路边一只猫，不熟练的从树上爬下，然后慢慢走到另外一棵树边，象一只狗一样对着树干嗅着，时而又向树上张望，似乎在寻找合适的位置进行攀爬。我目不转睛的盯着这只猫，等待它飞身上树的一瞬间。可惜直到绿灯亮起，也没有见它采取任何有效的行动。

CBD的猫是神秘的，也是强大的，因为在这里谋生并非易事，除了要与交通和保安做斗争，还要在冷酷的大楼中找到食物与不受打扰的栖身之处。

既然猫也可以在CBD生存，所以这次项目，也就是由CBD开始。

六月的北京，格外紧张，4号那天毫无悬念的过去，5号我便开始第一次实施。第一处是在朝外SOHO，在两座大楼中间的某处花园里，某棵植物刚好帮我挡住摄像头，而保安也走进了暗处。我迅速将文字留在了花园旁的一张石凳上。再用镀鉻银盖住那些文字。拍照，离去。

晚上八点的世贸天街，是一次市民聚集的高潮，小孩们在玩一种类似气球飞盘的东西，老人们聚集在一起聊天，年轻的女孩用丝袜或乳沟来挑逗着异性，我很关注她们，想必摄像头背后的保安们也会格外关注她们。感谢这些漂亮的女孩子，躲在她们的后面，在一个摄像头不会注意的地方，我有机会在这么密集的场所实施我的计划，并全身而退，甚至还能够装作无事的坐在台阶上看刚才拍下的录像。

鼓楼和钟楼广场上有很多老居民，他们拥有着强烈的使命感和归属感，我知道不管我怎么解释，他们都会以“我们北京人”这个庞大而又恰当的称谓来作为谈话的开始和结束。所以我在钟鼓楼广场上转了两圈，也没有找到机会下手，更何况，这里的摄像头相当密集。

最后还是一块鼓楼对街的广告牌拯救了我。这块空白的公交车站广告牌，刚好替我挡住了鼓楼脚下驻守的警车与马路上的摄像头，多谢了！

在危险的区域实施作品的时候，只能借用某些设施的帮助，比如刚才提到的广告牌，还有工人体育场北门对面的公用电话亭。这种球状的电话亭，是中国最广泛的公用电话亭设计，记得很小的时候，在我的老家黄石，我家楼底下就刚好有一个这样的电话亭，在早恋的时候，因为不敢公然在家给女友打电话，所以楼下的电话亭就成了我最好的选择。这种球状设计的电话亭的优点在于，一方面给通话者制造一种“在电话亭里，这个空间只有我一个人”的错觉，另一方面，其半开放式的设计让路过的旁人可以清晰的听到通话者的谈话内容。让本来私密的谈话，变成了经常在夜间上演的真人秀。

在这个作品实施的时候，我常常想，我给北京这座城市留下了什么？一抹银色？一段无人能看到的话？或者只是清洁工人们的任务？bingo！这就是我对这件作品的全部解释。

除此之外，当然这只是仅仅对于我（创作者，行动者）而言。探寻一座超级大城市的隐秘处，实际上也就是探寻这座都市的阴影与地下河流，比起宽阔的马路，24小时温控的建筑，随意走动的广场，付钱即可享受一切的酒店 ，商场，餐厅，健身房，酒吧，夜总会。。。。那里会更加让我感觉到轻松与自由。
